Canada: CPI rose 0.5% YoY in January
Canadian consumer prices rose 0.5% in a year to January, missing expectations at 0.7%. On a monthly basis prices rose 0.1%, vs. 0.2% expected.
The Bank of Canada Core CPI rose 1.0% over the last twelve months. On a monthly basis, core prices expanded 0.1%. Prior surveys were +1.1% and 0.1%, respectively.
